Nintendo has finally confirmed the much anticipated Switch 2
for release in 2025.
What we know so far:
- 2025 Release
- Similar format to the current Switch but larger
- Backwards compatibility with current Switch games*
- New Mario Kart game
- Larger Joy-Cons controllers attaching magnetically to the console's sides
- Better designed Kick Stand
- Next official Nintendo announcement: 2nd April 2025
