Collection of ten animated features about the DC Comics character Batman. In 'Batman: Mask of the Phantasm' (1993), Bruce Wayne (voice of Kevin Conroy) faces a crossroads in his life, unsure whether to seek justice by avenging his parents' deaths or to attempt to move on and enjoy his new romance with Andrea Beaumont (Dana Delany). With crime out of control in Gotham City, Wayne takes matters into his own hands and becomes Batman.
However, when another masked vigilante known only as the Phantasm begins pursuing Gotham's most dangerous criminals and is mistaken for Batman, Batman must find out who is behind the mask of the Phantasm. In 'Batman: Year One' (2011), Batman (Benjamin McKenzie) returns to Gotham City after spending years away training in foreign territory. Meanwhile, honest policeman Jim Gordon (Bryan Cranston) has arrived in town after being transferred from Chicago.
He is sent to track Batman down but with their shared interest in ridding Gotham of its corrupt cops and criminals, the two form an unlikely alliance. In 'Batman: Assault On Arkham' (2014), when Amanda Waller (CCH Pounder) and Harley Quinn (Hynden Walch) get together to form the Suicide Squad, whose number one ambition is to break into Arkham Asylum to retrieve information from the Riddler (Matthew Gray Gubler), the accidental freeing of The Joker (Troy Baker) results in Batman (Conroy) being alerted to their premeditated crime. Can the caped superhero stop them before serious damage is done? In 'Batman: The Killing Joke' (2016), Batman (Conroy) tries to apprehend his nemesis The Joker (Mark Hamill) while exploring the origins of his most famous foe.
After escaping from prison, The Joker targets the Gordon family for his next attack and kidnaps the Commissioner James Gordon (Ray Wise) to prove that a bad day can turn even the most honourable man insane, just like it did to him. With Barbara (Tara Strong) caught in the crossfire, The Joker taunts Batman from afar as he tortures James in one of Gotham's run-down amusement parks. In 'Batman and Harley Quinn' (2017), Batman (Conroy) and Nightwing (Loren Lester) form an uneasy partnership with Harley Quinn (Melissa Rauch) to stop Poison Ivy (Paget Brewster) and the Floronic Man (Kevin Michael Richardson) from turning the people of Gotham City into plants.
The evil duo have hatched a plan to save the planet but in order to do so they must wipe out most of humanity in the process. To stop them Batman and Nightwing enlist the help of Harley Quinn, who has recently been released from Arkham Asylum and is working as a waitress, to help them track down her old friend Ivy. Can Harley really be trusted to help the dynamic duo succeed? In 'Batman: Gotham By Gaslight' (2018), after a number of women including Pamela Isley (Kari Wuhrer) are attacked in Gotham, the city is gripped by the fear of a predatory killer dubbed Jack the Ripper.
While Bruce Wayne (Bruce Greenwood) prepares for the World Fair, the vigilante known as Batman teams up with Selina Kyle aka Catwoman (Jennifer Carpenter), cop James Gordon (Scott Patterson) and three young orphan boys to find the elusive Ripper and put an end to his violent attacks. In 'Batman: Hush' (2019), when a number of strange incidents plague Gotham, including Poison Ivy (Peyton List) taking control of Superman (Jerry O'Connell), Batman (Jason O'Mara) finds himself trying to discover the identity of the mysterious figure behind the plot, known only as Hush (Maury Sterling). But with his adversary always one step ahead of him, can Batman solve the mystery before Hush destroys him and all of Gotham? In 'Batman: Soul of the Dragon' (2021), Batman (David Giuntoli) searches for his missing martial arts teacher, O-Sensei (James Hong).
Teaming up with fellow students Richard Tiger (Mark Dacascos), Lady Shiva (Kelly Hu) and Bronze Tiger (Michael Jai White), Batman must battle Kobra terrorists led by Jeffrey Burr (Josh Keaton) as he hunts down his former martial arts master. In 'Batman: The Long Halloween' (2021), when a prominent Gotham City gangster is murdered on Halloween, Batman (Jensen Ackles) joins forces with Captain James Gordon (Billy Burke) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Josh Duhamel) to take down mob boss Carmine Falcone (Titus Welliver). However, when the gang-related killings continue throughout the holidays, the trio turn their attention to apprehending a serial killer they call Holiday.
Finally, in 'Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham' (2023), in an alternate 1920s, Bruce Wayne (Giuntoli) inadvertently reawakens an ancient evil during an expedition to Antarctica. When he returns to Gotham City after two decades away, Bruce must stop the Cult of Ghul from resurrecting their leader, sorcerer Ra's al Ghul (Navid Negahban), and burning Gotham to the ground in their quest to fulfil an ancient prophecy.
