Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw and Ethan Hawke return to star in this horror sequel directed by Scott Derrickson. In 1982, Finney Blake (Thames) is struggling to recover from the experience of being kidnapped by the brutal serial killer known as the Grabber (Hawke) four years earlier. When his sister Gwen (McGraw) begins experiencing terrifying visions and nightmares, they come to fear the Grabber has returned.
They travel to Alpine Lake, the camp Gwen has been seeing in her visions, to uncover the truth about what is happening and are soon caught in a battle for survival against a vengeful enemy who has transcended death. The cast also includes Miguel Mora, Demián Bichir and Arianna Rivas.
