Hoping to boost her subscriber numbers, streamer Nemu Takahashi convinces her high school classmates Haruka Nanami and Maria Hitsugi to test the urban legend “Ayame’s Mercy” live at an abandoned hospital.
It does not go as planned.
The three friends unwittingly trigger a curse placed on the hospital decades ago and are transported to another, darker realm, home to the vengeful spirit of Ayame Kirishima and countless other horrors. While their classmates back home search for them, Haruka, Maria, and Nemu’s only hope for survival is to evade the malicious spirits haunting Amare Est Vivere Hospital and dispel Ayame’s curse once and for all.
The cult Japanese horror franchise returns with new characters, a new setting, and a terrifying new curse. In this standalone adventure, a colourful cast of high schoolers find themselves trapped in an eerie, abandoned hospital connected to an urban legend called “Ayame’s Mercy,” where they must use stealth and cunning to survive a multitude of gruesome ends.
Combining the Japanese horror aesthetic that made the original a cult classic with immersive adventure gameplay and an updated presentation, Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion introduces players to a whole new set of horrors that will have them begging for mercy.
