Doc Martin Last Christmas in Portwenn

The Platt in Portwenn is a flurry with Christmas activities; the stalls are open, the carollers are singing, the Christmas tree twinkling and Al is running a 'Guess The Weight of the Christmas Turkey' competition. As Martin and James wait patiently to see Santa in his Grotto, Martin spots a medical concern that has him shut down the grotto and send Santa packing - until he's sure he isn't infectious. Louisa, taking matters into her own hands, is determined not to let Martin ruin Christmas, and goes to see Penhale about bringing back the Portwenn Festival of Lights. As keen as Penhale is they need to get through the officious Portwenn Parish council officer, Agatha first. Meanwhile, things go from bad to worse as Leonard decides potential illness won't prevent Santa from delivering the gifts - the traditional way! Mrs Tishell feels positively Christmassy when she takes the opportunity offered by some mistletoe and Christmas spirit; and Penhale's "12 Days of Christmas" inspired series of gifts doesn't quite go to plan. But does he have a final gesture up his sleeve?
