Cassandra Peterson stars in this horror comedy directed by James Signorelli. Elvira (Peterson) wants to perform in Las Vegas but needs money to make it happen. When she learns that her great-aunt Morgana has died and has left her an inheritance, she travels to Morgana's home in Fallwell, Massachusetts.
There she discovers that Morgana has left her a run-down house, a poodle called Algonquin and a cookery book. The conservative townsfolk soon turn against her and before long, she is accused of witchcraft. As she attempts to save herself from being burned at the stake, she must defeat a warlock with nefarious intentions who has turned almost everyone in town against her.
The cast also includes W. Morgan Sheppard, Daniel Greene and Susan Kellermann.
