Erin Brockovich

Erin Brockovich is an unemployed single mother who cannot find a job and her bad luck even extends to a failed lawsuit following a car accident. She manages to get a job with the lawyer who lost her case and as a result never looks back. She starts by investigating a company which is buying land already contaminated by deadly toxic waste and poisoning the residents.With her determination, Brockovich obtains records from the water board and in fact convinces her boss Ed Masry that PG&E is responsible for the medical problems of half the community. Masry, with Brockovich by his side, files a lawsuit against the huge company on behalf of the people who are signed up with their firm. A true David and Goliath story, where David actually comes out on top.
