Gord Brody (Tom Green) is an aspiring cartoonist who travels to Los Angeles hoping to sell his ideas for an animated TV series. The ideas don't meet with much success, and Gord returns to his parents' home in Portland, Oregon. After a family argument, Gord falsely accuses his father of child abuse and thereby causes his younger brother to be taken into care. Gord then returns to L.A. with fresh ideas, but his father follows in hot pursuit, determined to have his revenge.
