Franco Nero and Corinne Cléry star in this Italian thriller directed by Pasquale Festa Campanile. Whilst on their way to Los Angeles, married couple Walter and Eve Mancini (Nero and Cléry) pick up hitch-hiker Adam Konitz (David Hess). However, they soon discover that Adam is a ruthless criminal on the run from the law.
