All 12 episodes of the silent crime serial written and directed by Louis Feuillade. René Cresté stars as the eponymous character, a man seeking revenge against Favraux (Louis Leubas), the corrupt banker who ruined his family. When Favraux fails to return his ill-gotten wealth to his victims as instructed, Judex kidnaps him, but the situation becomes more complicated when Judex finds himself falling in love with Favraux's daughter Jacqueline (Yvette Andréyor).

The cast also includes Musidora and Édouard Mathé.
