Futuristic power company Alterplex intend to solve the world's energy crisis, with a revolutionary device intended to generate unlimited energy. All is going to plan until strange happenings, vehicles falling from the sky and people seemingly disappearing, are reported from all over the globe. As concern about the stability of the device grows, former NASA pilot and physicist Will Porter (Dan Stevens: Beauty and the Beast, Downton Abbey) is tasked with investigating the problem. After discovering that the device is destroying a parallel universe that has a similar energy crisis, Will is sent to the other side on a dangerous mission to try and restore the balance of power.
