Double bill of comedy adventures from Disney. In the animation 'Lilo & Stitch' (2002) young orphan Lilo (voice of Daveigh Chase) lives with her sister Nani (Tia Carrere) in Hawaii. Knowing that Lilo desperately wants a friend, Nani takes her to an animal shelter where Lilo adopts a strange alien fugitive who she names Stitch (Chris Sanders).
At first Stitch causes chaos by destroying everything he touches but as time passes he is accepted as part of the family. However, with representatives from Stitch's home planet hunting him, it is unclear how long he and Lilo can remain together. In the live-action animated remake 'Lilo & Stitch' (2025), six-year-old orphan Lilo Pelekai (Maia Kealoha) lives with her older sister and legal guardian Nani (Sydney Agudong).
Lilo is lonely and is eager to find a friend and so when she meets Stitch (Sanders), she immediately adopts him. While Stitch is pursued by aliens and government agents and Nani faces concerned social workers, Lilo attempts to teach Stitch the meaning of family.
