Little Boy Blue

A 4 part factual drama entitled Little Boy Blue, which focuses on the murder of 11-year-old Rhys Jones in Croxteth, Liverpool, in 2007. Rhys’s parents Melanie and Steve are supporting the making of the drama, which is based on careful research. The drama will explore Melanie and Steve’s ordeal, and will tell the story of how Rhys’s murderer and associates were eventually brought to justice. Stephen Graham takes the role of SIO Dave Kelly who led the investigation into Rhys’s murder on behalf of Merseyside Police, while Sinead Keenan and Brian F. O’Byrne play Melanie and Steve Jones.
