Pierre Brice and Scilla Gabel star in this Italian gothic horror directed by Giorgio Ferroni. When student Hans van Arnim (Brice) travels to a remote Dutch island to write a story about celebrated sculptor Professor Gregorius Wahl (Herbert A.E. Böhme) and his famed carousel of female statues, he finds himself falling in love with Wahl's daughter Elfie (Gabel).
