Tom Cruise reprises his role as Impossible Mission Force (IMF) agent Ethan Hunt in this eighth instalment of the action franchise. Hunt and his team race to prevent an artificial intelligence known as The Entity from starting a global nuclear war that will destroy the world. Their mission takes them from the depths of the North Pacific Ocean to a secure bunker in South Africa but if they are to have any hope of defeating The Entity, they must be willing to sacrifice everything.

The cast also includes Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames.
