Sean Connery stars in this sci-fi thriller written and directed by Peter Hyams. Federal Marshall William O'Niel (Connery) is sent to Io, one of Jupiter's largest moons, to investigate a series of deaths at a mining outpost. Conditions there are harsh and O'Niel soon uncovers a shocking secret: the workers are being supplied with a powerful drug which increases their productivity but also causes psychosis after prolonged use.
