Another fantasy tale from the Chinese text 'Ming Dynasty'. Wealthy Squire (Xu Jin Jiang) wishes his young daughter Yau (Loletta Lee) to retain her honour when she goes away to study and so he disguises her as a boy and fits her with a chastity device. Yau falls in love with a handsome swordsman however, who is in pursuit of the evil Mirage Lady (Shu Qi) who can drain her enemies' power by seducing them.
It is now up to Yau and the swordsman to defeat the Mirage Lady before she kills Yau's father.
