Sherlock Holmes: The Complete Collection (1984 - 1994)

Based on the crime novels and short stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, this acclaimed series recreates the classic Sherlock Holmes mysteries of murder and theft in Victorian times. Jeremy Brett stars in the lead role of Detective Sherlock Holmes, with David Burke playing the role of his assistant. There were 41 episodes, in which David Burke played Watson for the first 13, while the remainder saw Edward Hardwicke as the faithful friend.
