Set in 18th Century London this is a sombre adaptation of the story of the infamous barber Sweeney Todd of Fleet Street. The barber has set up shop in his home in Fleet Street and all seems quite normal until he shaves one of the prison wardens at Newgate Prison. Their conversation seems to trigger something in Sweeney Todds mind and unlocks a demon that he cannot escape.
