The Aphrodite Inheritance (1979)

All eight episodes of the 1979 television drama starring Peter McEnery, Alexandra Bastedo and Stefan Gryff. When David Collier (McEnery) receives news that his engineer brother Barry (Barry Halliday) has been severely injured in an accident while working in Cyprus, he travels straight out there only to find he's too late. As he starts to investigate his brother's death he finds out that Barry had been associating with some rather strange people and begins to wonder whether there is more behind his death than just a tragic accident. The episodes are: 'A Death in the Family', 'A Lamb to the Slaughter', 'Here We Come Gathering', 'A Friend in Need', 'Come Into My Parlour', 'Said the Spider to the Fly', 'The Eyes of Love' and 'To Touch a Rainbow'.
