US family comedy. When Owen (Nicholas Alexander) meets his new next door neighbour Lily (Blue Greene) he decides to get a dog, just like hers, so he can impress and spend time with her. After convincing his mum (Catherine Bell), he gets an Australian Shepherd named Bandit.
With the family struggling for money, Owen is delighted to discover that his new pet is a master thief when one day he returns to his criminal ways and brings home a pile of stolen cash to help out his new family. However, when Bandit's former owners, criminal duo Manny and Willy (Judd Nelson and Lou Ferrigno), manage to track down their prized pooch, they'll stop at nothing to get Bandit back working for them where he belongs.
