Action comedy sequel directed by Hal Needham. Having lost the first Cannonball Run, Sheik Abdul ben Falafel (Jamie Farr) is commanded by his father to return to the United States and restore honour to the family by winning the next one. Most of the previous competitors are keen to return including J.J.
(Burt Reynolds) and Victor (Dom DeLuise) but Jamie Blake (Dean Martin) and Morris Fenderbaum (Sammy Davis Jr.) are in debt to a dangerous man who thinks that kidnapping the Sheik would be a good way to make some quick money... The cast also includes Jackie Chan, Shirley MacLaine, Frank Sinatra and Telly Savalas.
