Barbra Streisand directs and stars in this drama alongside Nick Nolte and Melinda Dillon. Tom Wingo (Nolte) is unable to stop his marriage from falling apart and cannot come to terms with his brother's recent death. After his sister Savannah (Dillon) attempts suicide, Tom flies to New York and agrees to work with her psychiatrist (Streisand) to unlock family secrets from his childhood.
