French horror directed by Jean Rollin in which four sisters are convinced that they are vampires, contrary to the belief of the local villagers. Manipulated by an elderly man who exploits them and forces them to kill anyone who threatens to expose their secrets, they soon get more than they bargained for when three Parisians arrive in the village in an attempt to cure them of what they deem is an affliction.
