True Romance

From director Tony Scott and writer Quentin Tarantino this classic crime thriller centres on Clarence (Christian Slater) a comic book shop clerk who is set up with hooker Alabama (Patricia Arquette) by his boss. They fall in love and get married the next day but Alabama's pimp Drexel (Gary Oldman) stands in their way. In order to have a future together Clarence decides to take Drexel out, sparking a chain of events that puts them against the Irish Mob, the Mafia and the cops hot on their heels. Featuring an ensemble of brilliant actors including Brad Pitt, Dennis Hopper, Christopher Walken and Val Kilmer, and an iconic score from Hans Zimmer, True Romance is one of the great classics from the '90s.
