This musical drama opens at the warehouse of Mr. Rad (played by Steve Harvey). Elgin (played by Marques Houston) and David (played by Omarion) are childhood friends who are determined to make a splash in the world as street dancers. But when they lose a battle to a rival crew from Orange County their relationship becomes strained. A tragedy forces David and Elgin to put aside their differences and come together to win a dance contest that will make them 50,000 dollars richer and also land them in a video for a hip-hop superstar. Dedicated to the art of street dancing, and written and directed by Christopher B. Stokes, this showcases some of the most talented and prominent kids on the scene in a drama where dance battles take the place of actual fighting.
